Housekeeper (San Antonio Region)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the Information Center, clubroom, fitness center and restrooms are cleaned on a daily basis (prior to 9:00 am).
- Ensure that models are cleaned and maintained on daily basis.
- Ensure that all vacant apartments are cleaned as directed by the Property Manager.
- Ensure that laundry facilities are cleaned and maintained daily by 10:00 am.
- Maintain all public and common areas of the property in a clean, neat, attractive condition.
- Maintain an excellent customer service relationship.
- Abide by the company’s hazardous communication program and follow correct, safe work practices at all times.
- Participate in company training meetings as required.
- All other tasks as defined by the supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Efficiency, attention to detail and a sense of urgency in completing job tasks is required. In addition, the following skills are required:
- Ability to maintain a friendly, professional attitude with prospects and residents.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Pool care (as defined by supervisor)
- Mold awareness
- Keep areas around trash dumpsters clean
- Assist in the make-ready process for vacant units
- Straighten and clean pool furniture. Clean pool area daily.
- Deliver Resident Notices and assist service personnel as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
No specific level of education is required. However, for safety and productivity reasons, the position requires the ability to read and write English or supervisor must verify the understanding of direction by physical observation. No previous experience is required.
TOOLS, EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES USED
An associate in this position must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools. Position requires individuals to wear company specified maintenance uniform apparel and safety equipment as required. Daily use of mops, brooms, vacuum cleaner, scrubber, step stool, small ladder, screwdriver and other miscellaneous hand tools. Position requires employees to wear gloves as tasks dictate.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position requires the ability to transport a minimum of 25 pounds variable distances; required to handle cleaning chemicals, the ability to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit
